Join us in remembering the first Vigil in Alice Springs which occurrred on May 28th 1988.
Community Gathering at Alice Springs Town Council Lawns at 5:30PM.
The walk will be followed by a candle-lit event – at YUBU NAPA Art Gallery (65 Hartley street) commemorating those we have lost to HIV/AIDS, and then celebrating the launch of NTAHC’s history project publication -‘You’re Not Alone… 30 years of AIDS Councils in the Northern Territory’ and corresponding digital timeline mapping out 30 years of AIDS Council history in Darwin and Alice Springs.
Drink a toast to those past and present, with a selection of delicious canapes.
