Join Rainbow Territory at International Women’s Day walk

This Saturday, the 12^th March, Darwin is holding its annual  International Women’s Day March and Expo. This year’s theme is Strong Women, Strong Territory

Darwin’s IWD has been a great success for 8 years … wouldn’t it be better to have a Rainbow Territory contingent marching together?

Lesbians, gay women, transgender women, intersex women, and genderqueers who also identify as women face significant issues which makes this an important event for all women.

Traditionally one wears purple/green for IWD. Let’s also add some colour with BYO banners/flags/umbrellas/noise makers.

LGBTIQ people who do not identify as women are also welcome.

Meet 8.45am at Chan Art Gallery CBD (across from Parliament House)

March begins 9am from steps of Parliament House
