Black Dog Ride

1 million people in Australia currently suffer from depression. 2.3 suffer from anxiety. This calculates to one in seven people respectively have suffered depression or anxiety in their lives.
ABS, causes of death show that twice as many people died from suicide in Australia, than in road related transport deaths (1,310 vs 2,535)
Imagine how many of these are LGBTQI.
Saturday the 20th of March is the Black Dog Ride
A motor bike ride from East Point to Wagait Beach to raise awareness for depression and suicide prevention. This event is one of 73 motor bike rides held nationally in support of the national suicide prevention charity, Black Dog Ride.
Rainbow Territory will be holding a stall in support of this cause at Wagait Beach end.
We would like the community to come and show some support on the day by either participating in the ride or just to turn up for a chat and some iced tea.
